Cotopaxi ecuador ANDES: The Andes region of Ecuador offers an intriguing blend of nature, indigenous culture and contemporary life, all in close proximity. From the window of a modern hotel in Quito, the capital, you can see the majesty of snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano.
